hmm well some people took that the wrong way

first... i bought this car so i can start tracking and autoxing it, sorry if i posted it up in the wrong section i just thought it was the right area.

second.. i have done some research. ive asked many people, even people on here what they think. searched all over youtube for sound/power vids and got some information but just wanted to ask people in this section because yall seemed to be more informed about what to buy. i just needed more input before i invest 1500-2k in exhaust, wouldnt you???

single outlet i know makes more power and is much lighter, but i dont want to change my ap2 rear bumper. like FormulaRedline says, single looks wack on an ap2 bumper. so i was going to go with something dual bc its going to look a lot better. thats why i was asking what DUAL exhaust made the most power. still trying to decide, but if i can make some decent power, and run dual exhaust, i want to try it.

I originally bought this car and was going to swap a comptech supercharger on it and call it a day, but idk im just in love with the sound of an all motor car. boost is sexy as hell but id rather have that rawr to the motor. lol i have lots of experience building all motor cars, but they were mostly 1.6/1.8L motors. but even being that, was able to make 60-70 hp gains by simply building the motor and tuning it correctly. thats kinda what i want to shoot for , for the s2k. i want to make sure the car can breathe good with a good I-H-E, n do internals on the motor, and a fpr setup. some other quality parts here and there and with a good tune, i know i can pull some power out of it.

**just wanted to see what input yall could provide me with. sorry if i stirred the pot, just needed some advice before i drop some g's.

We are just joking, no hard feelings

the 70em sparrow makes great gains and it's a great price too.

Next up would be 70mm tracy sports/amuse/arc etc... Check the modifications subforum though. search for the official exhaust thread.

If you are honestly interested in tracking/autocrossing the car, you'll find that it responds much better to improved handling from things like suspension mods, tires, or weight loss than added horsepower. It will, in fact, respond best of all to spending your money on more seat time! This is a car that rewards driving skill. There should be quite a few opportunities to track your car nearby. I had a great time at Hallet a couple of years ago, which can't be that far away from you. The tracks near KC and STL are also within reasonable driving distance.
really upsets me about how the power gain is so low but oh well, guess they were made strong.

yeah hallet is awesome! hopefully ill be bringin her there next month. always been used to fwd cars. its a little tricky with turning and stuff for the rwd but im getting used to it. this car has more power than my civic did. theres alot of scca autox events in this area too. infact there was one just a couple weeks ago. next time u make it out this way let me know.

What about the T1R EM Dual? It almost gained 14whp on our dyno - no drones and good response for a dual.
