You cant go wrong with Mugen.

Since you mentioned AutoX you are most likely aware of the rules and what modifications can do to your classing.
What class do you want to run in? AS, ASP..ect possibly SM2 ( now called SSM)

Suspension modifications/tire selection will make you more competitive in AS/ASP then power adders.

Since you are 04 AP2 Mugen Header + AP2 Mugen Cat back + OEM Diameter TP netted about 12whp and10wtq on a dynodynamics.

Not the best peek gains compared to other setups however the Mugen gains were at every RPM.

Header gains are linked here

With the Roots supercharger the full Mugen AP2 setup with TP added ~19whp and 25wtq over a full OEM exhaust with TP all the way from 2000rpms to redline.

You mentioned FI so don

Wink

Just a thought. . .
Why must you only limit yourself to a dual system.
I used to run a A'pexi dual, it was ok .

As soon as switched over to single i was like , i can never go back to dual.
In my opinion i believe the S2000 was ment to be a single exhaust car not dual.

Anyways just trying to think outside of the box for ya.

On a side note, in order to achieve maximum potential of an N/A engine, a single is better in terms of performance. I have been researching N/A builds for the F20/F22 and in all the people I have talked to, single is the best route for performance.

MugenRioS2k: thanks for the great info. im still looking into which header to go with for the car. I did decide on exhaust, and ordered the T1r 70r-em exhaust w/ test pipe. i dont have the money for mugen right now, I needed to spend my extra money on a rear diffuser + cage. rawr! mugen exhaust is amazing, but i can always upgrade later As far as class is concerned im not sure right now, all depends what all mods are done before I start racing ya know.

Hunter: thanks for the info as well. Only reason i didnt go with the J's racing is exactly the point you brought across, its thin. Especially since i roll slammed sometimes. lol for carshows and stuff. dont need to hit a speed bump and crack the exhaust. cuz id cry for 24 hrs straight. lol i know it has benefits being lightweight and titanium, but to me, its not a good investment because of the way I ride.

thanks everyone else for your inputs. im sure i will have more questions later with headers / itbs / internals and stuff, dont worry i will SEARCH A SHIT LOAD before i make a thread so noone gets butthurt again. lo l

appreciate it yall.

are you going to have a muffler shop "replace" the tips with those from the OEM ap2 exhaust? if so, please be sure to post pictures!

the cleanest sounding and best looking exhaust IMO is the Supersprint.

Sounds exotic/dry while keeping the sound level to a minimum. You know how stock exhausts on Porsches and other high end luxury sports cars sound? Yeah...it's like.
