Default A/F gauge w/AEM EMS inputs?

I ordered the regular EMS without the wideband sensor option, and I am going to install a A/F gauge now. The EMS isn't in yet, so this is a good time to ask I think. So the EMS says it has 4 inputs and fuel control built in. And my wideband A/F gauge has wires for inputs to a management system. Will these two units marry together or would the next step up EMS be required?

Thanks!!!

Thanks.

Still kinda on it though. I wont be tuning it for sure, but would like to have it hooked to the EMS if it makes life easier for the tuner. Snce I will be getting a base tune with the SOT S/C kit, I am wondering how much of a hassle it will be for the tuners/installers doing my S/C. I think all my tuner will be doing is bascially fine tuning another member's current EMS tune.

Will i have to purchase this kit seperately as well? I already have the sensor supplied with my gauge.

I guess basically what i want to find out is what has to be done to get my autometer wideband to work with my EMS. Will it be more beneficial to have the AEM UEGO unit that is calibrated to match or keep my autometer and try it. Whats the difference in the AEM vs. the Autometer? http://www.autometer.com/cat_gaugede...gid=3606&sid=4

only difference i see is the autometer is 0-4v where the AEM is 0-5v.

You can do it but you need a sensor "Volts Vs A/F ratio" table to calibrate the EMS.

Thanks for the reply. Is that something I can find on the AEM forums?

Looks like the AEM UEGO is a much better solution if it is "plug n play" into the EMS. Looks like i wasted some $$$$.

Ask Autometer technicians about it. They should know it.
