f20c stroker
i have an f20c engine and i am wanting to get a stroker kit for it. what kit is the best? how much does it affect my 9k redline? these are some questions i have, any help is appreciated. thanks!
There are a few options depending on how much displacement you want. If you just want to bump to 2.2l, then getting an F22 is probably the least expensive. An F22 can safely rev to 8600rpm according to Hondata. Some tuning is recommended to correct air/fuel ratios...easily done with a VAFC for not much money.
Larger displacements are available from InlinePro. They have a wide variety of stroke and/or bore options. Custom tuning will be required for that. The engines are supposed to be strong enough to wind out to 9k, but due to power drop off, really isn't advisable for highest performance.
An all Honda build for a 2.4l is available using K-series parts. As mentioned there is a large thread on that subject...search will find it for you.
