Default FBM/AVID 70a Billet Engine Mounts

I decided to replace my stock mounts (which were split in half ) with a set of billet aluminum mounts from FBM/AVID. The following are a few pics of the install.
Stock mounts

Unusual relief drilled into the mount (used for mount alignment?)

FBM/AVID studs are shorter than their stock counterparts; still able to thread the nut enough to snug them down adequately

Installed!

Did you HAVE to remove the motor mount mount from the motor to install?

I suppose you don't have to; you would just need to jack the engine up higher (to clear the studs from the subframe).

I decided to drive the S in to work this morning. The vibration might take some getting used to if any of you plan on using these mounts on a street car. I rarely drive mine on the street; soon it will be a full drag only car anyway. The mounts are awesome. No engine flex at all and shifting is much more precise. Overall, I would recommend them
