Default A few ? about megan header

i looked for this subject and couldnt find one that answerd my question. Now the ap1 header is 4-1 and the ap2 megan header is 4-2-1 does this mean that the 4-1 isnt gonna give the same gains as 4-2-1 if this is the case will the ap2 4-2-1 fit on the ap1 i wanna buy this header but not if the 4-1 isnt as good

I think they are just based on the engine design. A 4-1 deisgn is usually tailored to top end hp gains, whereas a 4-2-1 design is best suited to more broad range power. Given the rpm difference it seems reasonable for them to design the two headers like that.

both are interchangeable. heard about a rumor that the AP1 and AP2 oem header have the same product code, and also they look pretty much the same. someone please correct me if i'm wrong.

I didn't think there was a megan header made specifically for the AP2? Link?

If you look on ebay there is a 4-1 and they say its for an ap1 then the ap2 are 4-2-1 and they say thats from an ap2
