T1r header?
comptech?
toda?
hytech header? if gains are really worth the fortune for one!

From what I've gathered,

The j's racing header is the only one that appears to consistently work and make the most with tuning and supporting mods.

The plm and berk are replicas of j's racing. I personally have a berk myself, but I bought it mainly for the weight savings and extra bungs.

Add toda header on your list. There's also comptech header, mugen which are carb legal unlike the rest.

The stock header is very good so you are better off getting intake exhaust hfc/tp and a tuning solution before a header.

According to the endyn build, the stock header might be better than hytech. This is with tuning and major engine modification (were talking about almost 300hp NA)

wow great intel! i will add those to my list for sure... im really considering to have a N/A street monster... (without having to build block or pull head) so full exhaust (including header) and a nice tune...
really considering berk or plm header at this point! since hytech doesn't seem to have the best bang for buck and wait time!

i originally wanted to be one of the straight line guys... who use force induction i see more and more of them going back to N/A for reliabilty and problems... i just dont think its worth it in the s2k...
recently rode in a nicely setup time attack car that was tuned (aem ems) felt so much better quicker and more responsive!

I apologize if this comes across as SPAM, but I honestly believe there are very little gains to be found in the header. The stock header is very, very good, but the exhaust systems that have been available for our cars are NOT. You should consider fixing your exhaust system first.

You wont have an NA "monster" no matter what header you get. Maybe with a stroker kit and/or itbs you can get somewhat closer to a "monster". Forced Induction is the best way to go for speed.

Your thread title made me think that you finally found the best n/a header.

Ya seriously, your thread title and the contents mean two different things imo.

Also, I have a comptech header, but its more for supercharged setups so Im ceramic coating the stocker and slapping that bad boy back on for my N/A setup. Only downfall is its a little heavier
