straight up if were not talking about price best headers are
1.HYTECH-which is only the best if you run it with their exhaust, they are designed to work specifically together, and only that way! -that setup will yield you the best results hands down, dont believe me? read this
http://www.hondatuningmagazine.com/t...g/viewall.html

2. js racing header- will provide you good midrange and excellent top end, which is awesome for the way our engine performs

3. toda header- will help you more on the mid range and not soo much top end....street driving will be better but when racing in a straight line...might not help as much

4. no one has much info on the amuse header, but knoing amuse...it will give the js racing a good run for its money....super baller part too ;D

ive been researching this for months as well and honestly ive came to the conclusion of
saving for the hytech header/exhaust
or
js racing header exhaust combo

look at the piping from start to finish, and the amazing welds and craftsmanship

the part i like the best is that it is a twinloop dual exit, which gives you a very aggresive tone, and not super loud that says "im a typical honda driver and im an arsehole"

Honestly after I read the endyn build thread, and that the stock header can support near 300hp with itbs, increased displacement, fully built head, raised redline, and pretty much infinite budget tuning at the individual cylinder level...that says a lot about the stock header.

With my own personal experience with header (tuned) on this car, the only problem with the stock header is it's on the heavy side and doesn't look as nice.

Unless you are supercharging or turbo there is no reason to change the stock header for NA power. For the cost of a J's or some other jdm piece $1500ish, you might as well get a EMS and a dyno tune. You'll get way more power for the dollar even if you're boosted.

Spend the money on a good headerback exhaust or to actually building the head ie cams, valvesprings, porting/matching, raising compression, and tuning. If I ever went into the bottom end, id be dropping a f24c crank in or something.

The hytech exhaust looks like it should be in a display case. I seen one in person when I tuned at church automotive...it's a piece of art.

we also have a very good intake...soo good that some aftermarket intakes make us lose power lol but when building an engine, everything in the end must be upgraded, i agree to tune ur car on an aftermarket ecu but tune after your header, intake, exhaust, and everything else u want to do... saves you time and money!

if thats the case i have a buddy who will sell me a PLM header that has been heat wrapped for 350... seems to be a decent price for a good js replica! the 76tar with matching test pipe should flow nicely... may sell my PW JDM intake and upgrade to ITBs as this isnt my daily driver anymore (i also own a k20 civic sleeper with ac) that i tool around town... so ITBS and plm will be in the near future with aem v2 ems anything over 260 when all said and done il be happy with

the only way youre going to get near 260 is by cracking into the block and head...theres no way in hell youre going to get anywhere close to that with just bolt ons and a tune..oh, and im running a PLM and its a really good header for the money...best bang for the buck IMO

with all the research i have been doing suggest i should be just around 260whp.. plenty of guys with 76tar matching test pipe and js racing header and CAI and tune are making 240 ap1 245 ap2. password jdm air chamber makes about 3-5 more whp then CAI.. and ITBs should be a solid 10-20hp gain tuned properly
