Default fipk mounting..need some advice

well I have an aem v1 on the car now and not really satisfied with it and want to go with an fipk. Problem is I don't have the original box(didn't come with car) nor the mounting brackets for the stock intake, they were removed al well. How does the fipk fit? Do I need to custom fab something or can it just sit on the frame support below it. any help would be awsome, thanks in advance.

I just installed mine this am. The FIPK comes with everything you need.
There is no fab work involved, pretty straight foward install. Just make
sure you get all the vaccum lines where there supposed to be. Directions
are pretty good. Go here K&N enter
the part number 57-3514 and you can download the directions.

It uses 1 or 2 of the stock brackets attached to the frame. If you're missing those it may not be totally stable.

all you need is one of the bolts from the OEM air box that was tighthened to the crossmember and the original small cross screw for the air control solenoid
