Hey everybody,
I'm new to this site so forgive my ignorance if this is posted in the wrong spot. I absolutely love my 06 ap2 but I have finally decided to add some bolt ons. I have seen on this site that a test pipe seems to be a great, cheap mod for this car. I would like to know if a test pipe will make the the exhaust get much louder? I'm not looking for invidia n1 decibels, but I do want to be heard.

 

im currently running a 70mm tp on stock exhuast and it doesnt really sound much louder. i know i should be running a 60mm, but cant seem to get myself to buy another one. the noise is just like stock... i have no rasp or anything. if you want a quiet exhaust get the q300. but a tp will make really no difference on a stock exhuast. but vtec is louder by a noticeable amount. good luck!

 

you get a bit more growl with a TP i wouldnt worry about it. I would just make sure you buy the right mm TP to fit your future exhaust. Once you have both then it will be loud!
