Fitting a Monsoon hood yourself ?
So my 20003 S2k has some wear on the hood and I'm considering buying a new Monsoon hood and fitting it myself.
I'm pretty savvy with cars. I've built a Sylva Striker kitcar from scratch with a crossflow engine, wired it from scratch and then changed the engine for a 2 litre Zetec, plumbed it all in and modified the wiring for a 3D ignition system.
I'd really appreciate any feedback from someone who'd fitted an aftermarket hood themselves, especially a Monsoon. Usually when I mull these things over for so long they end up not being as bad as I expected, but a couple of honest opinions would be great.
I'd probably get the mrs. to help, sounds like its a 2 man job and she works well as my calming influence when I'm getting impatient and about to drive a screw through the wrong side of the hood.
Cheers

Never done it myself, but read plenty on it. Expect a long 9-12hr day. From what I've read it's not really hard, as much as it can be frustrating at times. But I know a number of people who have dove into it, and came out successful (though a plethora to bitch about
)

Oooohhhh, lol. Guess I made a fool of myself. I always have heard softtop replacements were a pain to do especially if there's any kind of stretching that needs to take place.
