Default Forbidden OEM replica hardtop cracking

Hey guys bought a Forbidden USA OEM replica hardtop off Craigslist from someone and didn't really notice the small cracks it had, one crack is in the corner of the drivers side window which was about 1/2 inch long and now it's like over 4 inches long since I've had it. Also had a tiny crack on the front left where the top meets the windshield and it is still minor but slowly getting worst. What can be done to fix this besides overpaying a body shop? I was thinkin of getting some kind of bondo and taping the area off, filling the cracks, peel the tape, let it set and cure, then re tape the area again and spray the small area black because I feel like it would be cheap and that a small crack like that would go unnoticed if I covered it up that way. All opinions and advice would be greatly appreciated

I would do exactly what you described. Sand the cracks, apply bondo, prep for paint, match the paint at a body shop in a spray can, paint, clear, let it dry, and buff.

Thanks I'll be doing that within the next couple months, I think it cracked worst because of my fitment. I think I need the shim kit for my strikers because it seems to be a little loose and rattle around on the top. Also gonna put some rubber in between the brackets and the top itself because they make noise when on my bumpy roads
