Default Fujita Intake Install Nightmare!

So my friend and I just finished installing our 4 hour Fujita CAI install job woohoo! With crappy old small tools and both of our first times tearing apart my S2k, it was not fun. My hands are black and swollen and my back hurts like no other... but after I drove with it, hoorah!

I have a few questions regarding my install:
-I broke the "300" sized clip that secures the rubber piece on the throttle body because I over tightened it so I used the 325 there instead which seems to fit snug. Is this ok?
-I first mounted the bottom half of the tubing to the shock absorption plug thing before connecting it to the top half tube and I noticed it doesn't fit all that great, theres some space between the piping but after securing it with the rubber tube and rings it seems to be pretty tight and snug. Is this ok as well or should I re-install this sucker?
-Lastly, I somehow took out more plugs than I put back in when I removed the fender liner but everything seems somewhat secure. I had to remove way more than the instructed 3 plugs! I have one plug and two screws left over... SIGH! Also when I re-screwed in the splash guard, the screws don't seem to go in all the way and it sits really loosely. Should I keep turning the screws or could something be blocking them?

Whew sorry for the long questions, it's late and I have to wake up for work in less than 5 hours... but the drive will at least give me a little smile .

But overall this was a big pain in the arse and I'm feeling like crap. Goodnight everyone!

Leftover parts FTW!

Do you have pictures of the issues you are describing? From your explanation, I'm having a hard time picturing it in my head.

if you took off your front bumper and installed it that way it shouldn't take you any longer then 1 hour if its your first time....but as long as it fits and works!

Thanks for even reading my post guys haha. I was super "cracked" out feeling when I wrote it and it was more like me venting. I think I'll spend a good 2 hours or so this weekend and jack up my car, take off the front bumper, and reinstall the intake. Although it seems to fit fine and snug so I might take the mentality 'if it ain't broke don't fix it!'. But I do really want to find where the extra screws and plugs go. I also broke 2 plugs so thats a total of 5 leftover parts hah!

I will try to post pictures though this weekend!
