its my dd and ima keep it n/a but finding out you can get gears from kia or mazda for
about 300 changed my mind.
installation should be over a couple hunderd right?

and i dont go high way much. mostly local or free ways,
so that shouldnt be to much of a factor, and i dont mind the high revs
You get what you pay for, that applies to pretty much anything. I personally wouldn't want to run Korean Krap Kia gears in my s2k, but thats just me. Look into Puddymod differentials. He has an outstanding reputation on this forum to go along with his build quality and customer service. Your car is not a cheap car, so dont try to make it one by moddifying it like so.

Well idk. I really don't think they make that much of a difference but guess it depends on what speed both start from and all can make a big difference as well.

Kia gears are what everyone use for the 4.77's I believe. Used them for a long time in my car with zero whine and worked perfectly. Can't beat them for the 4.77's if anyone else even makes them.

Ricks? Oh yeah, I forgot he doesnt have them anymore. Sorry about that. I am pretty sure I have seen that video before. Sounds to me like you are just looking for a cheap way to make your car considerably faster than what it is.

Because, like it has already been said in this thread, they dont make as much of a difference as what you might think. Simply put, there is not a way to make this car much faster than what it is, in a straight line atleast. Have you thought about maybe an ecu or piggyback and a tune to utilize every bit of your mods?
