Because, like it has already been said in this thread, they dont make as much of a difference as what you might think. Simply put, there is not a way to make this car much faster than what it is, in a straight line atleast. Have you thought about maybe an ecu or piggyback and a tune to utilize every bit of your mods?
i dont really race unless its drag at a track but ima stop draging... rear diff stories scare me to death lol,
but im thinking of getting a tune, but i dont know anyone here in Co that tunes honda's very well....
just lots of awd tunners
evos and subies,,,, sighh no honda tunners
(i dont like piggy back ecu)

If you dont realize you are racing until you need to shift, I dont think gears are your best option.

If you dont realize you are racing until you need to shift, I dont think gears are your best option.i always go a gear higher when crusing cause when im floor it the car barely goes faster lol
so this prevents me from just gassing it at like 3500rpm
so ill be crusing at 2500 and its better cause my exhuast isnt as loud and cops wont pull me over for a moded exhuast
and at lights i always get into first by just letting go of cluth with out gas now (: hehe

You get what you pay for, that applies to pretty much anything. I personally wouldn't want to run Korean Krap Kia gears in my s2k, but thats just me. Look into Puddymod differentials. He has an outstanding reputation on this forum to go along with his build quality and customer service. Your car is not a cheap car, so dont try to make it one by moddifying it like so.

The awesome irony of your post is that Kia/Honda/Mazda all use the same manufacturer for their OEM gears. so if you have 4.1 stock gears, you already have Krap Korean Kia gears (essentially). that's what i remember reading.
