Getting ready for the summer heat

you shouldn't have that oem air guide still in once you put the cooling plate.
Ok well the guy that made the video took it down for some reason, it was in my favorites but now it just goes into a page cannot be found. Ill try to explain it the best I can. Theres a hose that goes into under your throttle body, disconnect that, but cover your alternator with a rag so you dont drip coolant into it. Re-route that same line that went into the throttle body into the pipe that connects to the hose that comes under the iac. Heres my awesome illustration, pay attention to the black lines (hoses)
This is how it should look now, that black hose I drew connects to a return pipe under the intake manifold.

Connect a hose from the tube that goes into the throttle body to that pipe so it should look like this kinda lol

Theres also the ball bearing trick where you find a 3/8" steel ball bearing and shove it in the line that goes into the throttle body. Its a real tight fit and it stops the flow of coolant but I couldnt find any place that sells ball bearings around here. And the hose method I used was probably cheaper.

Pay no attention to the hose thats circled in red, i accidently connected the coolant line in there and got coolant sucked into the engine, luckily it wasnt enough to cause damage but just be careful. lol let us know how it goes.
Ok I think I might have a solution for the coolant bypass, instead of buying all these hoses routing and blah blah blah, cut the coolant hose and install a ball vavle and turn it on or off during the summer or winter time, opinions?
The easiest way is to just put in the 3/8" ball bearing and take it out for the winter. I only did this method since theres no such thing as winter in florida, coldest we get is about 35ish, still not enough to freeze the TB. If you do live in a colder area just put in that ball bearing in the summer, and take it out during the winter. No cutting or re-routing involved.
And its only 1 hose that you buy, and a connector to do it the way I did.

One thing I don't get is that from a previous thread you put one 3/8'' ball in one line going in and one at the iac well wouldn't one ball just be enough at the begining? instead of another one cause that's the source right?
