Glass top & plastic window options
whats the estimated price on a rear glass window ? and where can u get them ? because im planning on tinting my windows..but i have a plastic shitty window ...which i don't think you can tint ......
I've seen tinted plastic windows. If you go glass, you need to swap out the top and frame (frame accommodates the smaller sized window)
I think the aftermarket robbins glass top works with the 00/01 frame but can not be positive. Searching this forum should help.

Ahhh, another one of the great XViper's mods for our car.
Static Cling Tint was marketed at Home Depot. Try there for a roll of it. Apply it to the inside after a good cleansing. It'll last a good while and need to be replaced about every year or so.
OR
You can get the Robbins top conversion like I did. No you do not have to get a new frame. Simply modify your existing from to accomodate the smaller window with a set of different elastic straps that com ein the conversion kit. This applies to OEM tops as well if you don't want the Robbins version, but I had great luck with it as many others here have.
OR
Buy a used complete top and frame off someone here on the boards. They come up from time to time. Easier install than having to modify your old frame. You still need to do some rivets along the rain channel below the window, but all in all it is pretty easy.
Take THAT!!!!
