Default GReddy Big Capacity Diff Cover for S2000

I was searching for information about this in s2ki, but didn't find much. (Some people say that the search function is not that good in this site) I would like to know if anyone has feedback on this? It looks like is more design to lower the temperature and not to make it "stronger".

01/02/13.

From their site:

●The genuine diff cover of S2000 hasonly 0.8L oil capacity so that it creates heat and other troubles when LSD isinstalled and the gear ratio was changed for circuit use. GReddy Big CapacityDiff Cover increased its capacity by 2.3L to reduce heat and enabled for sportsdriving.
●A strong 5000 Gauss Magnet that catches anyferrous metallic particles.
●Aluminum casting, which allows for easymaintenance and jack up.
●Additional screw holes enhance a cooling effect.

【SPEC】
・Aluminum casting.
・Oil capacity 2.3L (Stock: 0.8L)
・The bottom has an engraved mark of GReddy.
・GReddy Magnetic Oil Drain Plug included.
・Plug bolt M14-P1.5 x 2, 1/8PT-28 x 1, WasherM14-1.0 x 2, Bleeder bolt included.
・IN/OUT screw holes (M14-P1.5) arranged for diffcooler.
・Oil seal required.
・Reuse the stock parts: Oil field plug, Bleederplate, Blowby tube

Looks like an awesome unit for the track use. Really loving the auxiliary ports to add an external pump and cooler.

However,it ain't cheap.

Evasive has a diff cover too, but it's just as expensive:

This is Evasive design and ther baby, Gready is a copy

This part is not needed unless you do endurance racing or have an aftermarket clutch type LSD that would benefit from the extra oil capacity.

I run a OSGiken LSD on the street and I have no need for the added oil capacity because the rear does not heat up enough under "normal" use. I do have a PuddyMod cooling cover (built a lot of these over the years) I built for my rear with a large heat sink, this is a nice way to keep things cool
I am going to modify the cover I built to hold more oil along with the large heat sink to see how it performers.

It's the same cover. I could be wrong but I am pretty sure the EVS is a rebranded Trust unit, as the Trust version has been around longer.
