i've done a bit of research in the last couple of days and i'm pretty sure i have the 4.77 final driving gear. my car rpms just like this S2000in 6th gear at 65. sitting somewhere along 4- 4.25 grand on a nice hwy flat. i do know that this is an ap2 in the video as it redline's different.

ap2 has different transmission gear ratios, so you can't easily compare your ap1 to that video
yeah, that's kinda what I was thinking too. I'll do some research on the yellow box to see if mine's equipped. My gps was stolen awhile back, but maybe I'll borrow one.
Thanks everyone. sounds like I have a bit of snooping to do before anyone can help me beyond guessing.

If you have 4.77's you'll be over 5k rpms at 80 mph in 6th gear.

Congrats on the purchase!
yes and no. if he doesn't have a yellow box then he could have them, or the yellow box is set wrong etc.. just saying.

theres 2 or more of them btw

and

i had 4.77s in my ap1 loved them, but 4.77s would be over kill in a ap2 .4.44s would be the best

to the OP do have one of them?
I need to drive a stock ap1 to compare, but X2 on the 4.77. I find myself getting to 55-60mph without realizing how I got there. That's if I have 4.77 haha. Whatever I have is fun.
