Default Hard Top Vibrations

So i recently bought a VIS FRP Mugen Style Top. At certain RPMs i get a vibration noise through out the top probably because i am running a 3" single exhaust. I was thinking about throwing some dynamat in between the side brackets and the top itself to maybe reduce the vibration i am experiencing.

If you have first hand experience with this please let me know what worked for you.

Thanks!

Jeeze your just having a hell of a time with your top man. Didn't you have a peice of rubber between the brackets and the top before but it squeaked to much? You could try your dynamat solution or just use the rubber again like you did and get some Honda Shin Etsu grease. That will prevent it from squeaking so much.

I have the grease on the way for the seals, the rubber that is currently in between the brackets and top does nothing for the vibration so i will replace with dynamat. Just wondering if anyone else tried something different..

Yes this whole process has just been a complete head ache. I can't wait until its F&^KING done!

P.S.

Suzuka,
Where is my logo winnings cut?

Ahh I see, hopefully the dynamat will help it.

I still don't know if it won yet, I asked last week when they would be choosing and they said they weren't sure yet. If it does i'll be sure to let you know.
