Hardtop Liners

Hardtop Liners
All the other threads are 5+ years old about the subject.. but i am interested in putting a liner into my hardtop.
i have a mugen replica, and was thinking of just buying a big piece of foam backed headliner fabric and gluing it in with spray adhesive. would this work well enough? or will the heat from the sun/summer render the glue useless? any info or input is greatly appreciated!
this one was posted here years ago, i PM'd the guy who did it a few days ago but waiting on a reply.

I wrapped the headliner in my RSX-S a while back, used 3M headliner adhesive and I think some staples around the sunroof and other trim. Fit very nicely and I was thinking of doing it to my Mugen Rep top as well but it doesn't have the same kind of trim around the edges that RSX had so i'm not 100% sure if I'm going to do it or not.

Maybe a call to these folks could give you some direction and maybe a total cure solution.
