there is 2 senors on the 06+ driver side seat. 1 is for the seat belt latch and i hooked mine back up because iam using the oem seat belts. the second sensor can not be hooked up to an after market seat and that is what causes the srs light to come on. anyone know if i can use a resistor to trick the second sensor?

You can just unbolt the box from the stock seat and leave it plugged in & on the floor for your aftermarket seat. No need to get resistors involved.

ok as a reply to your pm ...
as my previous posts...once you remove the passenger seat on 06+ the airbag light will go on..when i did mine i removed the stock seats..i did not take off and hardware or electronincs from stock seats..
i installed two mugen rails..and my sir seats.
when its was time to sell the car.. i reinstalled the stock seats and reconnected the wiring and the airbag light went OFF.
hope this helps.

ok so the million dollar question:
who has unbolted the integrated box from the OEM seat and still has it attached to the car (on floor or to new seat) and installed aftermarket seats making the air bags fully functional AND no light on???
thanks!

hmm..the problem is that the box is weight switch..just like my wifes fj cruiser...when there is no passenger the airbag detector is off buaceuse no weight..and when she is in the seat the airbag is armed...
the s2000 has a weight sensor for " maybe incase of child" im guessing
and the distance sensor for how much pressure to get the bag to reach your face
so idunno if just having it on the floor will work....
also when you try keep the car off until you are completely done working..otherwise the aibag light will reamin on after removing stock seat
