I have a thread on this that solved the issue. Unfortunately, it requires either buying a Ballade rail or retrofitting an OEM one. Ballade has recently reduced their pricing and I haven't seen anyone with the new product. I'm sure it's functional as long as it uses the weight sensors and uses the factory box from your car's passenger seat. In my research, I'm pretty darn sure that you need the box from YOUR car and it will not work with one from a different car. I may be wrong but based on my understanding of Honda jargon, it sounded that way. I touched on it in that thread. Posts #10 and #11 are the write-up portion.

Also, for visibility, I did find this tidbit of info in one of Honda's training videos. It just mentions the protocol used for the SRS computer if anyone is familiar enough to fashion a module to trick the sensor.

Perhaps of use to others, the trainer does mention that the system uses LIN communication to provide info to the SRS computer. I have no idea what that means and if it provides any value. I just figured I'd leave that breadcrumb in case someone reads this, is familiar with the protocol, and has an idea to make a weight sensor simulator of some sort.

Friend of mine had it done in his S, he used the sensor from another seat (from another S) and it works without issue. Not an easy process, and you have to have a sensor from a spare seat or dismantle yours. His spare seat came out of a car being gutted for track duty, otherwise finding the parts is tricky now.

Does anyone have a photo of this sensor? I am so confused as I thought the sensor was in the rails!
