Default Have my S2000 lost it's power?

Using stock ECU mapping when throwing components on, will it actually make any gains?

I got a J's Racing manifold 4-2-1, stock cat, Invidia N1 exhaust and a AEM intake system. Pretty standard i guess, but do i need to remap the car to make this stuff work? It's far from as restricted to airflow as stock. What do you guys think would be the gains/losses with this setup?

Not much at all with the stock cat still on the car. You won't see too much without KPro/AEM EMS with a custom tune.

I hate the raspy sound from testpipes and i think its stupid driving around w/o a catalytic converter, but are there any good highflo cats for a reasonable price??

I agree, that without mapping with AEM EMS or Hondata you will not see to much benefits.
Especially from J's 4-2-1 manifold
Stock exhaust manifold is already great, there's no need to waste your money on aftermarket manifolds.

Most people use Berk HFCs. With a HFC or test pipe and tuning you still won't make crazy gains peak power wise, but there will be a VERY nice increase in power under the curve. There seem to be quite a few HFCs popping up in the classifieds pretty often. Keep an eye for them as they usually sell fairly quickly.

Thing is the car i'm buying has already the manifold bolted on so I haven't wasted my money yet
Just a little picky that I might have lost power, which would feel terrible and very pointless ofc..
