Default Tuning software

hey guys im planning on turboing the s on stock motor 3mm head gasket sc61 turbo 1000 cc injectors , stock mufflers/ tips actually 3 inch to the stock muffls(sleeper) , # inch downpipe etc. The only thing i need to know is what should i get to tune my car with. it will be somewhat of a DD so i need something that i dont have to worry about alot just get it tuned and let it be i also want 2 step for the track and im looking to get 400 or more to the wheels on my setup lmk what you guys think and anyone know of any good tuners in SC GA or NC ?? thanks

2 step is hard on your valvetrain from what i hear and i would go with Kpro or aem EMS. Its all in the tuner. Get a good tuner and ur set.

ill let the more seasoned guys answer lol

You don't necessarily choose software, but the ECU and it's associated software.

As mentioned above you're real choices are the AEM EMS which comes with AEM Pro or the Hondata K-pro which comes with Hondata's software.

But pretty much I would leave this up to your tuner. You want one that is experienced with one or both of the above and let them decide.

So the choice is not one of software, nor necessarily ECU, but one of tuner.

there is a guy like 3 hours away that does s300 and alot of hondata stuff as well ill have to check with him and as far as the 2 step i can do without it lol

Like mentioned above, either a aem ems or a hondata. Both work great, however, you'll be paying more for the hondata. Personally if you don't mind paying more I'd say go with the hondata.

hi,

mtm864:if you are going to tune your car hondata is very user friendly..

and very easy to learn..we were using hondata on our ep3 civic k20 with

gt37r for a very long time nop...we are going to upgrade it to aem ,and

72mm turbo to use 8 injectors.. my 2 cent
