I just bought a brand new set of OEM AP1 headlights. They are still available.

Aftermarket headlights are a downgrade. OEMs put literally millions of dollars into lighting r&d. Aftermarket just makes things that look cool. OEM lighting far superior performance to anything aftermarket.

So if you aren't going to drive at night, and just want something that looks good to you, then buy whatever looks good to you.

No need to call me a liar. My Google search came up with a number of vendors and the first on the list was:

Ironically, they are very near you. ...and all this time you thought you could not get OEM AP1 headlights.

All sites selling oem parts, including hondaautomotiveparts.com, routinely list stuff as available, even when its been long discontinued and unavailable on any shelves.

Its not until you order and pay for it that they contact you with the bad news.

That is true. However, I received my lights within 5 days of ordering. I examined them and they are AP1 headlights! They are currently in my garage, sitting next to my OEM front lip --- all still in their boxes awaiting installation!

Awesome!

Is there any date of manufacture on parts or boxes?
