Default Heavy shift knobs

I remember reading a while back that heavy knobs are bad for the trans. I just bought a heavy knob (blox lol) for that smoother shift feeling. Now i'm second guessing my decision.

If a heavier shift knob caused transmission problems, a lot of people would probably be having issues because of them resting their arm/hand on the shifter while driving which weighs a whole lot more than a heavier shift knob

I'm using a Skunk2 with a shifter extension. Zero problems and it shifts very easily.

never heard a heavy knob was bad for anything either...maybe if it was 200lbs...no weight a shift knob could ever weigh will hurt it

im using a evo 9 mr shift knob and the weight is next to nothing. all leather and its better than weighted knobs i used.

but when im ripping gears i slam it in gear and have slammed it in gear even with heavy knobs and have no problems.
