Are they worth fitting?

My opinion, they aren't. Basically for looks like what he said.

 

Cool. That's what I thought. Won't. bother wasting money then.

 

I run a NeuSpeed on my 03,and I think it was worth the $80 or so I paid for it.

IMO....it seems to help a bit with front anti-roll.

Cool. Does running the air box with K&N and the lid off make much diff to the power?

 

No.The lid was off to clean the K&N.

I see no diff with the lid off or on.Off makes a good intake noise @ WOT.No perf diff that I can tell.

i got one on my S. makes BIG difference when going over bumps and expansion joints and irregularities in the road, especially on curves. very happy with mine. i only get things that are performance oriented and i am VERY happy i got a STB for my car. maybe people have better roads, but here in chicago, it's welllll worth it!!

 

I have a K&N and run with the cover off on cool days...on hot days it bogs down like crazy when stuck in traffic.
