help how to install

Default help how to install

I just bought an air duct/snorkel off of ebay, it is great quality, does anyone know how to install a snorkel. does it just fit snuggly or do i put some screws thru it. Any information would be great

Usually they mount with bolts but being you got it from Ebay... who knows you will have to wait and see what you actually get.

have you even see those before?

to the OP: just take off the front plastic cover, drill and remove the two rivet on the oem intake inlet wedge and slide the whole thing in.

clean and use 3m doublesided tape(automotive type) for the part were the rad support meets the snorkel(or it will rattle)

i use some rubber gasket to wrap around the end of the snorkel(where it meets the oem air box) for extra seal

it pretty much just slides in you do need to cut the plastic piece in front of the radiator and lose the trumpet on the airbox lid here is a pic of mine installed

also, i find that the jdm ones like the real spoon and j's racing is just too much for something thats just..what? fiberglass? or carbon kevlar?

buy the one from ebay and slap a J's Racing sticker on it sell it for $350
