I just got some used v3. there is a plastic washer that sits ontop of the shock shaft seal that is loose. It can move around and rattle. Not sure if there is suppose to be anything ontop of the shock shaft seal beside the cap.

If anyone has a picture of the layout from top to bottom that would be great. We are talking under the bump stop then under the dust cover there is a loose washer

 

That's correct. It's supposed to be there. Nothing is wrong. It's to protect the seals for when the shock bottoms out.

 

thanks for the reply. My concern was that it might rattle when driving. ill try to take a picture tonight of the overall layout and hopefully someone can chime in and make sure its right.
