Default HKS exhaust

Hello all,

I'm new to this forum and wanted some opinion on HKS Hi-power exhaust. I heard they dont make it for the 08. Does anyone know what modification needs to be done to make it fit.

Also looking for the best fitment for some rims. Looking into Work vs-xx, volk te37, also need the best offset.

Thanks.

It will fit the '08 as there is no discernable difference between it and the '06-'07. If you use the search feature, you will find a bajillion threads on the HKS with most saying it has the best sound to it of any exhaust for our car.

Pros:
Not stock
Nice sound
Lighter
Dual

Cons:
Non-rolled tips
Not all stainless steel
Not as light as some exhausts
Not a huge power maker as a single exhaust

Cause most people associate dual with performance so when they designed the s2000 the gave it dual exhausts.

cool, so having a single exhaust would be better. Which one would you recommend for power gain and sound wise.

Do a search on here there are plenty of reviews concerning single and dual exhausts. The amount of info on exhausts here is endless and it also depends on how much you're willing to spend...a single can range from $600 - $2000. Search is your friend.

In all honesty, the stock exhaust is the best bang-for-the-buck exhaust youll find. There are only a handful of exhausts, all of which are expensive, dyno proven to show legitimate gains over stock. A lot of people get an exhaust for 1) the sound and 2) the weight savings. An aftermarket dual system can weigh between 20-50 lbs (I think stock to be ~53lbs). A single will likely be a good bit louder, but will make more power, and be significantly lighter than a similar dual setup. They only really free up a lot of HP if you're running a FI (forced induction ie: turbo, supercharger, etc) motor. Check youtube for some sound clips, and get the one you think sounds best. Search the gallery for pictures as well.
