I chirp third pretty easily, not worried about a shiftknob any time soon. Its so miniscule, there are literally too many other things that go into shifting, fluid, ball detent, synchros, shift forks. I'd rather worry about all the other stuff making the car shift smooth than how my shift knob makes me feel. Hey thats just me!

It's not so much about the knob making you shift better. It is more about how the shifting feels to the driver. Believe me, I was a HUGE skeptic for about five years on the subject. When I won a gift certificate to Rick's I figured I would get one for the hell of it. Afterwards I really wished I would have at least sat down and tried out someone elses Voodoo knob instead of just saying it was a waste. If you have a chance to try the feel of a Voodoo at a meet or something, go for it.

A modified stock 07 knob. About an inch lower. Pain in the rump to do but much better shifting for my tastes. Plus a splash of teak!

I would say that this should be on anyones short list of "first mods" for their car. Its countersunk, great feel and excellant balance.
