It's locked to a ECU, so you can't go around tuning other peoples ECU. If you sell it, they will have to unlock it and lock it to the new owner.

That toda flash will be a thing of the past or go down in price IMO since it's static. Flashpro will be the way to go, and it's priced to take advantage of it.

It will have hiccups

I just an email from Hondata, and they said it comes with 12 base calibrations.
I guess that is for different combination's of after market parts?

^most likely and it'll probably have an economy map or a valet map that doesn't let the car rev past a certain rpm.

The flashpro is the exact same thing as an Accessport would be if it ever came out for the s2k.

Wow, very cool. I would assume it has a few different ones for intakes, exhaust manifolds, exhaust/exhaust sizing, etc. And like sjs0433 said, some type of economy and valet mode.

One of my favorite things about this is the ability to delete the secondary o2 sensor. Might sound ridiculous, but it's always a pain to get rid of the CEL for us 06+ guys.

Take a look at the differences between FlashPro and AccessPort for the Civic Si.

FlashPro Comparison Chart

The FlashPro has:

- Faster programming
- Faster and more extensive datalogging (almost 10 times as much datalogging memory)
- Boost tuning
- Large injector tuning

and many other capabilities

I was trying to talk down the capabilities of the Flashpro. Heck if I had a 06+ I'd definitely be buying one. Actually now that you guys have this coming out it is really making me want to sell my 05 to get an 06.

I'd be willing to bet though that if Cobb did make an accessport it would allow for boost tuning as well as larger injectors. superchargers/turbos are too common on the s2k for them not too and they definitely have the know how/technology as almost every other car they make the AP for is factory boosted.
