Hoping 1 day Hondata will come out with a better flashable unit than their dual KPro's....

You cannot use the RSX o2 sensor. A wideband really consists of two parts - the oxygen sensor and a wideband controller. They must be matched, otherwise you won't get a reading. The wideband controller for all ECUs is inside the ECU, therefore the matching o2 sensor must always be used. You can't mix and match.

The stock 06+ S2000 O2 is a wideband. It's not that accurate, but we have a corrected AF for street tuning.
Hondata, can you give us a rundown of the 12 base maps that are included with the system?

PS...Nice product!!

Thanks,

John

you can go as low as you want but if you set it too low you may have damage from low oil pressure. shouldn't go below 2,500... the base maps included are set at 3200...

Hondata needs to get rid of that picture of a 00-01 Silverstone S on their website since this product is for an 06+ S2000.

http://www.hondata.com/
you must have hit a nerve - they have changed the pic today to a black CR...

If I'm not mistaken the 06 primary 02 sensor is already wideband so you don't need to replace it.

EDIT, Hondata already confirmed above, oops. Great that they have corrected for its (stock sensor) inaccuracies in the software
thanks just the same - and good deal - i didn't want to have to change it... honda knew we would need it since they made the ecu programmable

can someone explain to me how this works exactly...its similar to the reflash..but with the option of tuning i see....any other info...
so there will be an increase in torque and hp?

i also read that 06+ possibly have problems running test pipes and what not in this thread because of their susceptibility of running to lean

https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.ph...c=715145&st=25

will the flashpro compensate for putting on other parts...exhaust..test pipe
you should go their web site and start reading and view their youtube training video

- so there will be an increase in torque and hp? you be able to tune for the mods you add to get the most out of your mods.
- i also read that 06+ possibly have problems running test pipes and what not in this thread because of their susceptibility of running to lean. you will be able to street tune and/or dyno tune the a/f to prevent too lean/ too rich conditions for the test pipe and any mod you add.

- will the flashpro compensate for putting on other parts...exhaust..test pipe. Yes, but you have to program it / tune it. you will be able to street tune yourself and/or dyno tune.

Could a mod merge all the FlashPro threads so that I don't need to type this again tomorrow?

S2000-US-9-RTS - this is a return to stock calibration. It is essentially the latest ECU flash from Honda.

S2000-US-1 - this is a stock eqivilent calibration. It uses exactly the same fuel, ignition, vtec etc settings at stock. On the dyno it made the same power at a stock ECU, with the same AF.

S2000-US-2-Tuned - this is a tuned calibration for a stock vehicle. Slight gains in power, but really is a starting point for further tuning. The main changes were to the fuel - the stock AF plot is not very flat.

S2000-US-5-AEMV2 & S2000-US-5-Injen are tuned calibrations for a stock vehicle with each type of intake. Not really that different from the 2-Tuned calibration.

S2000-US-7-Supercharger - generic supercharger calibration. Will work for Rotrex and Paxton based superchargers. We might add specific calibrations before the but there are various issues to be solved first.

S2000-US-8 - all these are starting points for tunes requiring different injectors. We spent some time getting the dead time / lag time / voltage compensation correct for the injectors, so that a calibration based off these will not require much part throttle re-tuning.
