How to adjust KW V3 coilovers?
Rebound is adjusted at the top of the shock via the plastic knob that came with the shocks. clockwise is firmer.
Compression is goofy. At the bottom of the shock, where the body is welded to the 'U' shaped piece, there is a tiny plastic cover. Rotate that plastic cover around the shock body to reveal a small 'window' into the interior. Inside that opening will be a shaft with holes through it. Take the paperclip-like 'pin' that came in the kit, insert it into one of the holes and use it to rotate the shaft. Clockwise is firmer. I lost my pin long ago and have just used a small allen wench to rotate the compression adjuster.

Single adjustable shocks almost always have the adjuster on the top. Depending on the shock design, it could just adjust rebound, like the Koni yellows, which have no adjustment for compression. Or, it could change both rebound and compression at the same time, like the Tein Flex.
