Default Koni Yellows and Coilovers

Is anyone here running this combination?

If you run GC, Dropzone, or Tom's coilovers, I have a solution to remove the OE spring perch. This will work on all Hondas with these brand (and possibly other) coilovers on Koni yellows (Sports). LMK if you are interested, I am having a few sets of adapters machined and will make more if there is interest.

For anyone curious, here is a pic:

It slides over the Koni body, in place of the perch, captures the circlip, then the threaded body sits on it.

The material is T6061 Al, I've got a few prototype sets running around the metroplex w/o any issues. I'm looking at getting another few sets for me and a few other people, for less money per set I can have several done in a small production run.

Any issues with the removal of the perch material found in the threaded GC body? Is there a way to better secure the threaded body so It doesn't rotate when turning the adjustment collar? The polymer material eventually grabs. Will the T6061 simply spin?

It will spin. The polymer material grabs because it's soft and pliable and has no place in an application like that!

Here's a related question: how long will my stock shocks last? I've been told that shocks don't last more than 60-80k miles, but wear out so slowly that it is hard to notice.

When mine are gone (I'm at 62k miles), I'd like to switch to Konis.
