I just installed the Science of Speed hood dampers and they look/work great! However, I was curious if there is an easy way to remove the stock hood prop. Mine will not slide out of the hole on the right of the bay and I was afraid of breaking the bracket. Any suggestions? Thanks!

I just left mine in. There;s no market for one used so it's just another piece of useless junk to be stored. I f you do remove it ,just throw it away.

 

I just put the SOS dampers in also. You just have to kinda spin the prop out, following the curves at the end.

 

Twist and pull gentley and it should come out easily.
