Hey, I was wondering if there was a way of putting a CR lip on a oem ap2 bumper. I feel like the lip on the CR just looks so damn good. I was able to find this picture, which is exaxtly how i want the front of my car. Is it possible for me to buy just the lip itself and put it on my bumper?

yes it's a separate part number from the bumper and fits on any OEM AP2 bumper 04-09. You just need to drill a bunch of holes in the bumper to properly mount it.

 

Lots of examples of this. You need to drill holes in your bumper to mount it but it is doable.

 

Hardtopguy sells the full OEM CR lip hardware.

If your AP2 bumper is one of the latter batches, it should have marks on the inside of the bumper indicating spots to drill.

 

Also, if it's in your budget (it'd be significantly more), you can also buy an OEM CR bumper. That way, the holes are already drilled, everything is basically guaranteed to fit perfect, and you can keep your OEM AP2 bumper mint and in storage.
