Default how to install a shine hard top

Ok so i just got a shine hard top for my s2k and i'm trying to figure out if the soft top needs to be removed for this style top. If so does anyone know where i can find a DIY for a soft top removal and possibly a DIY for the shine hard top. Thanks

What style is it? Mugen? I'm not aware of any hardtop that requires softtop removal.

Im probably pretty late to help you with this, but Ive had the top for the past 3+ years and my soft top is still in. Im just now getting ready to remove it for my roll bar. The major downside being you cant install the back 3 brackets with it in (atleast I havent figured out how). With just the side 2 brackets and the front latches the top stays on fine. If you need any pics or anything you can pm me and ill send you some.

Actually If I remember correctly when I installed mine you unbolt the three volts while the top is up then open the top you pry the top away from the bolt and slide the bracket over the bolt and let the convertible back into place
