Default Hardtop Question

I have a question about the hardtop before buying one. When you put it on, you can take it back off correct? its not permanent? and when you take it on and off, do you have to take off the soft top or does the hard top just go over the soft top? let me know, thanks.

You can take the hard top on and off. You leave the soft top installed and the hard top "sits" on top of it.

Soft top is considered a "winter accessory". First install is said to be a little rough, and you'll need more than yourself to do it just to pick it up and set it level on the car. Put then install and removal is a piece of cake. The soft top is let down and then you install the HT. No removal needed. If you ever hear the term "hard core hard top" they are referring to the removal of the soft top and motor to save weight (around 150 pounds)

With a helping hand the top can be put on/removed in less than a minute.

you can KEEP the soft top BUT you have to put it DOWN in order for the hardtop to fit. Take the hardtop off, then you can put the softop back up(but why would you do that )
