That's a good deal. I bought a used mugen rep with CF sides and lexan glass from a guy I know who bought it from forbidden. It came with all hardware and he helped me instal it in his garage. I paid $1,100.

Ask him to take you out for a test drive and listen for the wind noise yourself.

Just picked this up for 500 but have no clue who made it

Yeah, that looks like about $500 worth of HT. It is ill fitting on the passenger side at the windshield. I would have bought it though.
I think i can get it to fit better if i make or buy brackets for the fronts instead of using the soft top latches. I did a quick install because my soft top was getting worse everyday lol. Took me 3 hours but that included making rear brackets since none came with the hard top.

I would not buy a chaser for 1000 (I don't think they even cost that much when they were new). I wouldn't buy one for 500. I have seen multiple chaser hardtops in person- they all fit like crap. If you are going to spend 1000, I would try to get a forbidden USA or rockstar garage mugen rep. I have heard really good reviews on their fitment.

If you decide against buying the chaser top. We make the best aftermarket hardtops available. We use higher grade materials for both the top and the hardware then anyone else. Pm me for a quote
