Default How are your gauges mounted?

I got EMS and i still need a serial gauge but i really don't want the A pillar pod. Any other options? I plan on only having one serial gauge since my turbo kit is only going to run 9lbs and i'm very confident in my tuner giving me a safe tune

I havent gotten around to getting my serial gauge hooked up, but I wouldnt drive my car without an oil pressure gauge & boost gauge.
I have the A pillar mount, but will just be using a gauge cup on the dash for the serial.
Eventually Ill cut the dash & mount all three across.. Ive seen it on a few S2k's and its very clean.

The serial gauge does 19 functions. You can switch between anything from boost, egt, knock, or afr. Thats why i want it. You really only need one

if you have aftermarket radio and don't use audio controls, remove the audio controls, make a plastic piece that sits flush and mount the gauge there. Very clean and easy to see. Otherwise easiet places are ontop of steering column and a window mounted gauge.

or if you don't want to look at it constantly, mount it in the cup holder!

A 2 cent 90 degree angle bracket from the hardware store. Bent and corners rounded on a grinder then covered with heat shrink and stuck with 3m molding tape.

Hey, it works, ok?

I saw this and i really like the idea but how do you switch thru the fuctions of the gauge? can i wire up the unused mute button for this?

I don't run any gauges. Every now and then I'll run a log to make sure there are no major problems, but otherwise I don't worry about it. I have a safe tune with plenty of fuel, so no sense in having a gauge messing up my interior. If I did want to run gauges, I'd probably try to inset them into the radio door like Ricks2k. I would replace the audio controls, but I love my stereo and use it often (yes, it's not stock).
