false.

on my old setup, FIPK, Berk high flow cat, and invida v1 ( 63mm ) and tuned perfectly with e-manage ultimate, i still hit over 14 in some spots after installing my ricks header after that. re-tuned and everything was great.

just cause you've never seen it...doesn't mean it's the truth.

There may be a miscommunication here. When I said that I haven't ever seen an AP1 with I/H/E run in the 14's, I was talking about untuned AP1's (the topic of this thread).

Your comment seems to be about a tuned S2000 that then went lean because of a header. If so, then I agree. A perfectly tuned engine is going to run lean and need a retune after the addition of any good breathing mod. Of course, that's off topic with this thread.

'00 and '01 ran fairly rich. '02 and '03 are comparable if not on par with AP2.

Let me clarify that I am speaking of non-DBW ecu or pre '06. It is well known that '06 and up will not see much increase in peak hp from piggy back units, however K-pro and a few others have increased and smoothed out mid range power delivery with reflashed ecu swaps.

Ah, well, I think that narrows your statement down to just 2 out of 6 years that AP2's were produced.

I've been tuning my '08 AP2 with a FlashPro, and have definitely found power here and there, but nothing like I did on my '02 AP1

This is quite an informative thread.

Can someone tell me how my air/fuel ratio looks?

My only mods are:
snorkel
gutted airbox with k&n drop in filter
test pipe.

Your AFR looks similar to my AFR curve in my '02 before I tuned it. I suspect you would be able to achieve similar power gains as I did using a VAFC or NEO.
