Default Import Tuner

Not sure if this is the proper forum to be placing this under but here is goes:
I have been a subscriber to Import Tuner for many years now. It was how I learned about the newest styles and trends and would eventually lead me to S2ki to learn everything I would want to, or care to for that matter about one of my all time favorite imports.

Recently Import Tuner went under a design change as well as editorial staff change from Jason Mulroney to Carter Jung. The newer editor in his initial timing october 2008 issue wrote the following:

Sorry its so big.

I responded with this:
Dear Import Tuner
Cc: Carter Jung- Editor.

I would like to write in comment to your October 2008 initial timing, 100% Beef critique of knockoff parts. I have been a big fan of the import scene for many years and keep a watchful eye on the trends, as I have over the years begun to slowly and tastefully modify my Honda S2000. It is this limited experience that I base my model for this retort, as I expand it across the import tuning culture.
I spend countless hours lurking S2ki forums, group buys and sponsor promotions, looking for new and functional parts, within my budget. I have considered parts from the states- Greddy, Password JDM and APR Performance etc., as well as lusting after the elusive parts from almost prerequisite JDM tuners- ASM, Amuse, J

I definitely have to agree with you there, though I don't have much experience with that particular problem.

My first 'tuner' car was an 88 Prelude which has basically no aftermarket support so everything I've done to it was custom, or adapted from another Honda (always true original parts, no knockoffs).
