Import Tuner
something tells me im not going to get a response... i sent that a couple weeks ago. my reply went through several revisions it went from strait on attack to the more sensible version you see now.
I wanted people like Ben@BulletProof and Steve@PWJDM to see this. Ben because he has connections with the JDM tuning scene, hopefully he can work on getting more cost efficient parts or getting some more tuners to set up shop here. I want Steve to see that his efforts are appreciated- if some of you dont know what PWJD is doing, they are using their carbon skills to innovate some pretty unique parts for S2000s.
I am sick and tired of hearing the JDM vs everything fan boys (although it is significantly less now it seems, as the S2000 dips more and more into boy ricer value) bash on everything not JDM. Some people just want to passionately enjoy their cars. The elitist attitude is just going to divide and alienate the tuning world.

good to hear! I just sent PM's to PasswordJDM, Kraftworks, and Bulletproof to get some response and feedback from the big guns.
I came from much more humble origins. my first car was an 86 AW11 and I was a member of MR2OC. The mantra their was if you like it and it works then kudos to you. Phrases like "to each their own" and JDM > x ... werent really part of everyday banter. I would like to see more of the same community spirit/ support here. With the resources and sponsorship this forum receives it would seem relatively easy for members to start taking a more responsible approach.
Alright no more smiles and rainbow hugs... keep the feedback coming.

great letter. However, I think it will be completely ignored and there will be no response from the editor in the next magazine.
You wrote a very good letter, but I feel as if it will make the editor feel like he's an idiot. so why would be publish something making him look like an idiot?
