Default installing Hard top with out soft top?

I am trying to Install my hardtop using OEM hardware, I just gutted my soft top and the brackets that the oem rear catchers mounts to is the soft top mounting brackets. Has anyone mounted there hardtop with out the soft top using OEM hardware? I think I can maybe mod the soft top brackets and make it work or buy CR brackets for 65 EACH side (trying to avoid spending more money)

thanks

edit: does anyone have the CR Body Side Catcher mounting brackets part number? Hardtop guy has them listed here
http://hardtopguy.co...&cat=193&page=2

last edit:
I found the part numbers for the CR brackets
here they are

86121-S2A-A00
86171-S2A-A00

if anyone has modified there soft top brackets to do this Id love to see pics or a wright up.

i didnt even bother to think that the CR would have different chassis side mounting brackets.

but you can use the bottom brackets no problem. there are 3 holes.. you just mount the 2 vertical bolts closest to the door. these are 12s. the 10mm in the back you can do without.

or you can purchase the izzys race hardtop brackets from us. these were designed to mount hard tops without the soft top installed.

i figured it out, but now I cant use the latch because the harddog is in the way lol. I might bend the latch go just cave and go with the izzys. I just didnt want to have to bring out tools every time I want to take the hardtop off

I have my mugen style harddtop mounted without the soft top installed. Are you installing an OEM or mugen style hardtop? I had to "fabricate" a bracket to allow it to mount, and by fabricate I mean take a piece of steel about 1 inch by 4 inches and drill holes in it. I'll see if I have any pictures of it.

I think got the OEM hardware to work with my authentic mugen top. All I had to do was bend the handle a bit using a vise and a breaker bar(pipe). I didn't get a chance to test it our but it should work. I'll take pics when I install it tonight.
