Default Installing Moddiction Convex Mirrors

I have the old mirrors out of the frame and I am wondering what to do with this 3M double sided tape that was give to me. The DIY mentions nothing about this double sided tape at all. Does it go inbetween the mirror and the frame or between the frame and the mirror housing?

Thanks

It sounds like the tape was given to you if you wanted to keep the factory mirrors in and just stick the new ones to them.

Yup that's what the double sided tape is for.

DIY instructions can be found on my website as well.

I really want to get moddiction's mirrors but my damn mirror bounces up and down so violently while driving. I haven't taken it apart to look at it but I think with the convex, it'll be unbearable. Anyone have any ideas to prevent so much sshhhaakkinnggg?

Something must be loose. The mirrors shouldn't move at all. The whole mirror or just the glass is moving?
