gut ur airboox and get some type of snorkel or a cooling plate with airguide (go to vis, ebay or seibon)....in my opinion u cant go wrong using the oem airbox, and modify it..it shud be the best option...

insulate it with some sort of heat blocker,i.e. thermo wrap (inside or outside or both)

buy a decent drop in filter, i.e. knn, j's,etc.( in my case i am using an aem dryflow filter with 4 inch inlet tube, and its 10.5inch long--pretty good in my opinion)
