reinstalling clutch?

Default reinstalling clutch?

I'm puttin my clutch in and I dont have a helm manual or anything so I've been doing everthing from write ups on here, I couldnt find anything on reinstalling the clutch and the search feature is down right now so I need a lil help
what do you do after the pressure plate in installed and tight?

to start how does the fork and releaser go back together?

hondahookup.com has free service manual if you register. much better than crap you buy at advanced auto

Transmission Removal

Transmission Removal

NOTE: Use fender covers to avoid damaging painted surfaces.



Make sure you have the anti-theft code for the radio, then write down the audio presets. Disconnect the negative cable from the battery first, then disconnect the positive cable. Remove the battery.






Loosen the locknut, then remove the shift lever knob.
Remove the center console.






Remove the boot holder (A) by releasing the lock tabs (B) indicated by the arrowheads

Transmission Installation

Transmission Installation

NOTE: Use fender covers to avoid damaging painted surfaces.

SRS components are located in this area. Review the SRS component locations, and the precautions and procedures before performing repair or service.







Install the transmission rear mount (A).
Check that the two dowel pins are installed in the clutch housing.






Apply super high temp urea grease (P/N 08798-9002) to the release fork (A), the release hanger (B), and the release bearing guide

additional info for clutch install


Service and Repair

Clutch Replacement
Special Tools Required


Ring gear holder 07LAB-PV00100 or 07924-PD20003
Clutch alignment shaft 07LAF-PT001 10
Attachment, 32 x 37 mm 07746-0010200
Driver 07749-0010000
Remover handle 07936-3710100
Pressure Plate and Clutch Disc Removal







Check the height-variation of the diaphragm spring fingers using the dial indicator (A). If the variation is more than the service limit, replace the pressure plate.






Install the special tools.
To prevent warping, unscrew the pressure plate mounting bolts (A) in a crisscross pattern in several steps, then remove the pressure plate (B).
Remove the release bearing

torque the pressure plate 19ft lb of tq according to my manual...
