Intake recommendations anyone?
Hi I think its a good set up although on mine it sits very low so risk of water etc if driving in monsoon, my mate had a hks race suction one it was like a big yellow mushroom and very loud, but I am happy with this one as its well away from any heat.
I had the low intake AEM on my V6 Accord (no less) and fitted it with some sort of relief valve that would prevent sucking water into the engine if the inlet ever became submerged. Never came close but it seemed reassuring.
For my just acquired S2000 I chose the K&N FIPK system. Installed in less than an hour. I doubt any of these provide any meaningful power gains but the intake growl, especially when the Vtec cam takes over is worth the price for me.

I have the fipk and as others have said there's really no gains to be made from it and there a bit more heat soak than the oem setup. With that said I've gone through 2-3 ft of flooding in the s2000 without hydro lock.
I would go for the K&N FIPK. In fact, I just picked one up for $100 today; condition seems very satisfying too. I need to wash the K&N filter though...but I do have a K&N intake in my OEM airbox, could I possibly fit it into the FIPK system?

It only took you an hour to install it?! I still have yet to install mine, everything is set up, just need to take off the OEM intake and shove it in.
